About Drex Enterprises

Drex Enterprises - the Mazda Roadpacer of the technology world
In time, I’ll post some videos and other stuff here that references the Drex Enterprises Moodle site, so its worth pointing out something about Drex Enterprises.
Drex Enterprises is a genuine business name I registered a while back when I needed to invoice someone for a little bit of work, and I’ve not used it for anything since. Drex Enterprises offer no service or product, generate no income, and have no intention of changing any time soon. Drex Enterprises are not open to any offers of work on the side, takeovers by multinationals, or anything else that might take up time that I could be focusing elsewhere (such as putting in the hard yards for my employer, who I have the utmost respect for and who are good enough to let me just be myself more often than not and still pay me to show up each week).
I created the logo and set up the Moodle site under the Drex Enterprises banner because I wanted to have a Moodle site that I could add all sorts of untested, high-risk plugins to, something that doesn’t really fit into an Enterprise Hosting environment like I have at work. This will mean that, although I intend to do some general ‘how to’ videos on lesser known Moodle components and make them publicly available, the Drex Enterprises Moodle site will undoubtedly break from time to time, in which case I’ll probably just blow away the whole thing and start again. Ultimately Drex Enterprises exists purely as a semi-fictitious (although legal) entity through which I can demonstrate some things in Moodle and Mahara.
Drex Enterprises – serving nobody in particular for an alarmingly short time.
